MINUTES FROM LAST MEETING

The Victor Valley Computer Club meeting was held at the appointed place and time on September 25, 2002.  Six members were present.  President Glasper called the club meeting to order and made a proposal to the members present to elect new club officers.  After a lengthy discussion, it was decided to postpone the election until January 2003.  In the meantime, a Trustee Board was formed, consisting of Robert Hampton, Tony Wittmann, Ron Heimback, and John Kindsvater.  This board will oversee the operation of the computer club until the election of officers in January 2003.  President Glasper is stepping down due to his run for City Council seat in the City of Adelanto.  There will be a club meeting in October.  However, the months of November and December will be probably be dark.  From now until January 2003, the Trustee Board will be looking for new ideas to boost the membership of our club.  One thing that is coming up is a trip to the ComDex Computer Show in Las Vegas between the 16th and 21st of November 2002.  If you are interested contact Bob Hampton at: mackman65@earthlink.net or John Kindsvater at: jkindsvate@aol.com .   The suggestion is that we would go on Tuesday and stay for two days.  Think about it, I believe it is something we can all enjoy.  Oh by the way, if you have suggestions for this club,  go to the membership link on our web page and fill in the appropriate blocks.  Use the comment section for your suggestions.

In closing, I have enjoyed being your Club President these past few years.  However, my cup is overflowing with various commits and it’s time to pass the leadership to someone else.  Thank you for your support and help.

Charley B. Glasper

Club President
