WELCOME TO JT ROCKS
Joshua Tree National Park is a destination point for world wide rock climbing enthusiast. As in any area where rocks are found the quest to find new routes up a formation is as strong as ever. Even with over 4,000 routes recorded in many excellent guide books, hundreds of new routes have been added to the park over the past few years and there are many more to come. Finding information on these routes is not always easy. Our goal is to provide a very fast method of reporting to the climbing community and guide book authors any new routes or changed conditions of existing routes. We are not a guide book so you will not find descriptions of existing routes found in other publications. We strongly recommend you buy a guide book for your visit to the park, they contain essential information on how to get to the 800+ formations and 4000+ recored routes.

NEW ROUTES
J-Tree has more rock climbs in one area than any other spot in the world. With new routes being added all the time our data base will continue to grow and you will have the most up to date information available. We are also constantly adding topo's to go along with the new routes. You can also find information on first ascents by climber names and dates.

MAPS
Our maps help you find the area, formations and new routes with an easy point and click method. Any formations with red names have new routes and make it easier to locate quickly.

NEWS
There is always something happing around here so we will try to let you know what's up. The road construction is moving right along at a snail's pace but there is some new asphalt.
