Sgt. Roger Organ had been six years in the army and
was testing bombers at Patterson Field, Ohio, where he was
stationed before joining this unit from Langley Field. He had
attended Wittenburg College in Ohio before joining the Army Air
Corps. His father was Clyde Organ of Springfield, Ohio, but after
his mother's death he had made his home with an aunt and uncle,
Mr. & Mrs. Yost. Sgt. Organ's remains were returned to his
family in Springfield. This information was provided by
