Rosalea Orozco ('98) and Samantha Harris ('97) take a break during an observing session on Chaffey High School's North Quad.  The telescopes (six inch on the left, eight inch on the right) are pointed at Mars rising above Euclid Avenue.

April 1997.  Rosalea Orozco obtaining one of our first Mt. Wilson images.  She is on the phone with April LaBrect of TIE moments after the image arrived. On the monitor is the image of NGC 4565 in Coma Berenices.

Spring 1997 sky viewing from Chaffey's North Quad.  Mr. Wilborn and his son, Connor, join Eugene Tarigan ('97), Joshua Emele ('98), and Victoria Avalos ('97).  The young man behind the telescope is a passerby who stopped to take in the view.

Our first trip to Cow Canyon Saddle.  Jeremy Thomas ('97) and Joshua Emele ('98) set up the six inch while Ned Hardcastle ('97) and Samantha Harris ('98) ready the eight inch.
