Richard Laserna ('05), Daniel Aguilera ('05), and Marlene Jimenez ('06) make careful measurements as they replicate Kepler's work with Tycho's position measurements of Mars.

 

 

Cassandra Bilonta ('06) and Jeanette Sandoval ('06) work on making an accurate plot of the moon's orbit.

With the road to Cow Canyon Saddle closed by Forest Service authorities, Cassandra Bilonta ('06), Richard Laserna ('05), Joe Reyes ('06), and Miguel Ortiz ('06) used the 16 inch telescope on the baseball field to observe Saturn and Jupiter.
