Matt Whitney ('04), Ashley Horstmeyer ('04), Andrew Herbert ('04), and Chris Hacopian ('03) viewing from Chaffey's North Quad on a January evening.  Andrew showed that temperatures in the mid forties were not a problem.  Fires in the Angeles National Forest in September 2002 closed the road to Cow Canyon Saddle for the rest of the school year.

 

 

Luis Guillen ('03) and his first image of M95 in Leo obtained using the TIE 24 inch telescope at Mt. Wilson on May 21, 2003.

 

Jose Rodriguez and his first image of M101 in Ursa Major obtained using the TIE 24 inch telescope at Mt. Wilson on May 21, 2003.

 

Jenny Casilla ('03) ponders which image processing techniques will render the best view of M109, a barred spiral galaxy in Ursa Major.
