To join the Parish You may obtain a newcomer’s brochure outlining All Saints' various ministries, programs and activities at church on Sundays, or you may speak with one of our clergy. Everyone is welcome to attend any of our services. Also, plan to attend the Anglican Essentials class offered every spring. This course provides an orientation to the Anglican Church in general and All Saints’ in particular. To arrange for a Baptism An important part of Holy Baptism is initiation into the local faith community. Therefore, it is important that the parents of candidates that are infants and children have attended All Saints' regularly for at least three months. Adults seeking baptism need first to establish a relationship with the parish community. Please contact a member of our clergy through the Parish Office, and they will meet with you and baptismal sponsors before the Baptism to reflect upon the sacrament and provide pre-baptismal education. Holy Baptisms are performed on the Sunday following Epiphany, Easter Day, Pentecost and the fourth Sunday in September. To arrange for a Hospital Visit Please phone the Parish Office at 562-438-3650 if you or a member of your household is hospitalized for any reason. The parish clergy are privileged to visit in the hospital to offer prayers for the sick and to bring the sacrament of Holy Eucharist to any baptized Christian who desires it. To arrange for a Funeral Notify one of the clergy or phone the Parish Office to inform us of a death in your family. Our parish clergy will meet with your family to arrange for a funeral and assist you during this difficult time. To arrange for a Wedding Weddings are celebrated for members of All Saints’ Church and for children of current members. Newcomers are welcomed to attend our services to see if they would like to make All Saints’ Church their parish home. The couple will meet with one of our priests for marriage preparation and planning the wedding service; this usually takes six months. The date for the wedding cannot be set until after an initial meeting with one of our priests. Please contact the Parish Office to obtain our wedding booklet. To arrange for Reconciliation/Confession The ministry of reconciliation, modeled for us by Christ, is exercised publicly through the Prayer of Confession during each Eucharist, and individually through our parish clergy, with care and confidentiality. Confession, or The Reconciliation of the Penitent, is available for all who desire it. It is not restricted to times of sickness. It is held on Christmas Eve, Shrove Tuesday and Holy Saturday, and by appointment at other times. To obtain Counseling Please contact any of our clergy through the Parish Office.
