Youth Ministry

We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, his power, and the wonders he has done. Psalm 78:4b

"Pass it on!" That's what this ministry is about!Encounter God through Christ, learn of Him and be transformed by the Holy Spirit, and proclaim Christ and the knowledge and love of God to our youth. Know Christ, learn of Him, and pass the knowledge and love of God to our youth. Then teach them to pass it on to others. This is what Jesus did with his disciples. He left His church in their hands, promising never to desert them and to empower them by His Spirit. He gives this same command and promise to us today.

The ultimate fruit of youth ministry is to see spiritual fruit born in the lives of the young, particularly as evidenced by the fruit they bear in the world.

The middle and high school youth of All Saints' work with the youth pastor, youth advisors and adult volunteers to grow as Christians, participate in outreach and service opportunities, and develop Christian friendships. We all agree that our youth are the church of today as well as of the future.

Youth Activities include:

• Church School on Sunday mornings

• Group Bible Study

• Confirmation

• Acolyte service

• The Lenten Program

• Assisting with Vacation Bible School, usually a week in August

• Parish Picnic

• The Living Nativity

• Fundraising

• Fellowship events such as mountain and river trips, camping, and summer beach recreation

• Missions, both local and international
